Dr. Gurpal Singh

Dr. Gurpal Singh is a board-accredited, fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in joint replacement surgery and musculoskeletal oncology. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors as well as complex joint reconstruction procedures. His commitment to clinical excellence earned him the inaugural College of Surgeons Gold Medal for achieving the highest distinction in the professional FRCSEd (Orth) examination. Supported by the Singapore Ministry of Health Scholarship for Advanced Specialty Training, Dr. Gurpal underwent advanced fellowship training in Germany at the University of Münster and Otto-von-Guericke University, where he further developed expertise in complex joint replacement surgery and orthopedic oncology. He is dedicated to advancing orthopedic care through evidence-based practice and innovative surgical techniques. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Gurpal is actively involved in medical education and research. He established a one-year Musculoskeletal Oncology Fellowship Program to train orthopedic surgeons pursuing academic medicine and has mentored numerous local and international fellows. His research has been widely published in leading peer-reviewed orthopedic journals, particularly in musculoskeletal oncology and joint replacement surgery.
