He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 1996, where he was placed on the Dean’s List. After completing his advanced specialist training in Endocrinology in 2007, he was awarded the Ministry of Health Human Manpower Development Programme Scholarship, which enabled him to pursue further training at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. There, he obtained a Master of Science in Molecular Exercise Physiology with distinction. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (United Kingdom). Dr. Goh is dually accredited in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine and has also completed a Master in Medicine (Family Medicine), making him well-positioned to deliver holistic and patient-centered care. He has previously served as Senior Consultant and Head of the Department of Medicine Unit 2 and Division of Endocrinology at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he led key clinical initiatives including thyroid services, diabetes management protocols, and exercise-based diabetes programs. He has been actively involved in research, receiving grants from the National Medical Research Council and other institutions, and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on diabetes, thyroid disease, and exercise physiology. He also contributes to medical education and serves on national committees related to sports and anti-doping medicine.
