Dr. Dean Koh 许志祥医生

Dr. Dean Koh is a colorectal surgeon trained at the National University of Singapore, with extensive international fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery. He obtained fellowship qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1999. He subsequently completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Ferguson Clinic/Michigan State University programme in the United States, where he also received formal certification from the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. \n\nDr. Koh’s clinical expertise focuses on laparoscopic and minimally invasive colorectal surgery, particularly laparoscopic colon and rectal procedures, which remain central to his practice. He has been performing robotic-assisted colorectal resections since 2008 and is listed on the da Vinci surgical system surgeon locator, reflecting his experience in robotic surgery. \n\nHe has contributed significantly to surgical education internationally and has served as visiting Professor and faculty at IRCAD laparoscopic training centres in Strasbourg, France, and Taiwan since 2012. His academic contributions include numerous publications and book chapters covering laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery, anal fistula management, and fecal incontinence surgery. \n\nDr. Koh is actively involved in peer review for several journals, including the Singapore Medical Journal, Annals Academy of Medicine Singapore, British Journal of Surgery, Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences, and Yonsei Medical Journal.
