Dr. Daniel Chan 曾文耀医生

Dr. Daniel Chan is a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of breast, lung, and colorectal cancers, with additional expertise in lymphoma, neuro-oncology, and sarcomas. He graduated with honours from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2000 and became a qualified medical oncologist in 2008. He further advanced his clinical training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre from 2010 to 2011, working under world-renowned haematologist-oncologist Professor Philip Koeffler. \n\nPrior to entering private practice, Dr. Chan served as a Consultant at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS). During his tenure, he established the Neuro-Oncology Tumour Board and was an active member of both the Sarcoma and Lymphoma Tumour Boards, contributing to multidisciplinary cancer care. He also held a concurrent leadership role as Director of Undergraduate Education (Medical Oncology) at NUS, where he was involved in medical teaching and curriculum development. \n\nDr. Chan has a strong academic and research background, with active involvement in cancer research at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (USA), Annals of Oncology, and Investigational New Drugs, and has authored book chapters on breast cancer. He has also served as co-investigator in numerous clinical trials for novel cancer therapies. His research contributions have been recognized through multiple awards, including the NMRC Overseas Research Fellowship (2010–2011) and the NMRC New Investigator Grant (2012). \n\nHe is an active member of international oncology societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the Connective Tissue Oncology Society (CTOS), and continues to contribute to advancements in cancer treatment and research.
