Dr. Chia Kok Hoong 谢国鸿医生

Dr. Chia Kok Hoong is an experienced General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in vascular surgery, cancer surgery, and transplant surgery. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1986 and obtained his FRCS (Edinburgh) in 1991. He completed general surgery training in 1995 and later pursued advanced vascular surgery training at Singapore General Hospital. In 1999, he was awarded the HMDP Fellowship and trained at Monash University in Australia, focusing on endovascular surgery and renal transplantation. With over 28 years of clinical experience, Dr. Chia is highly skilled in managing complex vascular diseases as well as performing kidney transplantation. His surgical expertise includes treatment of vascular conditions such as varicose veins, aortic aneurysms, renal artery disease, vascular trauma, and blood clotting disorders. He also manages colorectal surgical conditions including hemorrhoids, polyps, and colorectal cancers. He has collaborated extensively with specialists in orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, and oncology for multidisciplinary care. Dr. Chia has also managed emergency vascular cases such as ruptured aneurysms and vascular injuries.
