Dr. Chan Wan Xian 田宛仙医生

Dr. Chan Wan Xian is a cardiologist, echocardiologist, and heart failure intensivist with subspecialty expertise in advanced heart failure, cardiac imaging, and women’s heart health. She is a former Senior Consultant and Co-Director of the Women’s Heart Health Service at the National University Heart Centre Singapore (NUHCS), and is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She graduated with an MBBS from the National University of Singapore and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). She completed her Advanced Specialist Training in Cardiology at NUHCS. She was later awarded the Academic Medicine Development Award and completed subspecialty training in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada, including training in cardiomyopathies and advanced cardiac imaging such as echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. Furthering her specialization, she trained in women’s heart health at the Mayo Clinic in the United States and the Ottawa Heart Institute in Canada. During her tenure at NUHCS, she led transitional and home care services for complex heart failure patients and contributed to award-winning quality improvement initiatives in cardiac care.
