Dr. Bernard Kwok 郭永权医生

Dr. Bernard Kwok is a cardiologist with extensive expertise in heart failure and heart transplantation. He obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 1990 and further completed his Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and underwent specialist cardiology training at the National University Hospital, Singapore. He completed a fellowship in Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation at Stanford University School of Medicine in the United States, becoming Singapore’s first qualified transplant cardiologist. Dr. Kwok established the country’s first multidisciplinary Heart Failure Programme at the National Heart Centre Singapore, where he served as Director and continues to care for patients as a Visiting Consultant. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kwok has a strong interest in exercise physiology and is accredited as an Exercise Specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine. He has held prominent leadership roles, including President of the Singapore Cardiac Society and founding President of the Heart Failure Society (Singapore). He is also actively involved in teaching as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS.
