Dr. Ang Kian Chuan

Dr. KC Ang is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports injuries, arthroscopy, and joint replacement surgery. He graduated from the Melbourne Medical School, University of Melbourne in 1990 and completed advanced orthopaedic training, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1995. He further enhanced his expertise through clinical fellowships in knee and sports medicine in the United Kingdom, as well as shoulder and elbow surgery in Australia. His clinical practice focuses on sports-related injuries involving the knee and shoulder, as well as the management of osteoarthritis and joint diseases. Dr. Ang is a strong advocate of minimally invasive and computer-assisted surgical techniques, with much of his work involving arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) and joint replacement procedures. He is actively involved in training surgeons in the region, particularly in arthroscopic techniques for the knee and shoulder. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ang runs a sports medicine clinic for undergraduate students at the National University of Singapore and serves as a team physician for various rugby and sports organizations in Singapore.
