Dr. Aaron Poh Guo Han 傅国涵医生

Dr. Aaron Poh Guo Han is a fully accredited consultant general surgeon with subspecialty expertise in colorectal surgery and trauma surgery. He serves as the Medical Director of Alpine Surgical Practice and is recognized for his patient-centered approach, providing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's medical condition, personal values, and lifestyle while delivering evidence-based surgical care. His clinical expertise focuses on minimally invasive colorectal cancer surgery, exenterative surgery for advanced cancers, laparoscopic abdominal surgery, and advanced therapeutic endoscopy. He performs gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), colonic stenting, laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, hemorrhoid surgery, and the treatment of anal fistulas, anal fissures, abscesses, and suspicious skin lesions. His minimally invasive techniques help reduce postoperative pain, shorten hospital stays, and promote faster recovery. Dr. Poh obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 2004 before completing specialist training in General Surgery. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS) in 2015 and completed advanced fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a colorectal and trauma surgeon at Ng Teng Fong Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he also played a key role in establishing the hospital's trauma service. He remains actively involved in clinical research, regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals, and presents at international surgical conferences.
