Dr Abdul Razakjr Bin Omar is a cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. Dr Abdul Razakjr has been invited as a lecturer and faculty for local and international cardiology meetings. He was also involved in scientific research and his works were published in peer-reviewed international journals. He was the specialty editor of the Singapore Medical Journal and honorary secretary of the Singapore Medical Association. He is a board member of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and the previous chairman of the outreach committee at NKF. Currently, he is the chairman of the MediFund committee, Ang Mo Kio-Thye Hua Kwan Hospital and a member of People’s Association, Ang Mo Kio Community Club Management Committee. He also sits on the Singapore Medical Council’s complaints panel. He was the member of the board of trustees for the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and was a member of academic advisory committee of SIT. Notably, he was appointed by the Honourable Chief Justice to be a member of inquiry panel and was also appointed as member of the committee to review the salaries of the president, prime minister, political appointment holders and members of Parliament. In 2013, Dr Abdul Razakjr was conferred the Berita Harian, Singapore Press Holdings, Achiever of the Year award.

Chow Hui Jeremy

Dr Jeremy Chow is a cardiologist practising at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore. Chua Chi Ming Kelvin

Dr Kelvin Chua is a cardiologist at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. He specialises in arrhythmia care in the field of electrophysiology and pacing. He has special interests in sudden cardiac death, ablations of complex atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and the use of novel pacing and ablation strategies including conduction system pacing, ultra-high-density mapping, cryoablation, and pulse-field ablation. Prior to joining private practice, he was a senior consultant at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), where he led the electrophysiology service at Sengkang General Hospital and was instrumental in setting up the specialist outpatient clinic there. He also established several key clinical programmes at NHCS including cryoballoon ablation for atrial fibrillation, fluoroscopy-reduction ablation techniques, and conduction system pacing. Dr Chua graduated from the National University of Singapore and obtained membership of the Royal College of Physicians, UK as well as a master's degree and certificate of specialist accreditation (cardiology). He pursued his subspecialty clinical fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, USA, and the University of Chicago, USA, where he acquired expertise in the management of complex arrhythmias and cardiac implantable electronic devices. He also received his accreditation from the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners as a certified electrophysiology specialist – adult cardiology. His research interests during that time were electrocardiographic predictors of sudden cardiac death, ultra-high-density mapping to delineate atrionodal connections, substrates correlating with critical isthmuses in ventricular tachycardia, and device algorithms for early detection of lead dislodgements. He has been practising medicine for more than 15 years. Dr Chua was a clinical assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. He is a fellow at local and international cardiovascular societies including the Academy of Medicine Singapore, American College of Cardiology, European Society of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society. He organises and speaks at major conferences, public forums and engagements with physicians from all specialities to improve accessibility and level of care to patients. Dr Chua was awarded several Singapore Health Quality Service Awards.

Liew Kay Choon Reginald

Dr Reginald Liew is a cardiologist at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore. He is trained in cardiac electrophysiology (EP) procedures such as catheter ablation (radiofrequency energy that rectifies abnormal heart rhythm) using conventional and 3D mapping systems. He also performs cardiac device implantation, such as cardiac pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD) and cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT) devices. He undertook his medical training at Cambridge University, and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, graduating with distinction. He obtained a PhD from Imperial College London, where he investigated the effects of oestrogens on the heart, and received his cardiology training at the Royal Brompton Hospital and subspecialty training in cardiac arrhythmias at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and St George’s Hospital in the UK. He has been active in the field of heart rhythm problems, and was involved in some of the early clinical studies in the UK that validated the use of 3D mapping systems to treat complex heart rhythm problems. Dr Liew was the former senior consultant and deputy director of the research and development unit at the National Heart Centre, where he helped develop the research programme, especially in the fields of cardiac arrhythmias and the use of stem cells in cardiovascular disease. His research interests include atrial fibrillation, cardiac risk assessment, and sudden cardiac death. He is also a member of the research committee for the Singapore Heart Foundation and the basic science committee of the Asian Pacific Heart Rhythm Society. He is a keen health educator and has mentored cardiologists in Singapore and in countries like the UK in performing cardiac EP procedures, and regularly proctors EP cases in neighbouring countries.
