Dr. Jeremy Chow is a Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Asian Heart & Vascular Centre, Singapore, with subspecialty expertise in cardiac rhythm disorders and cardiac implantable electronic devices. He previously served as Consultant Cardiologist at Changi General Hospital and is a Visiting Consultant at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS). He was also a Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) from 2006 to 2013. Dr. Chow graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from NUS and completed his basic specialist training in Internal Medicine, obtaining a Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine (Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine, National University of Singapore). He became a certified cardiologist in 2010 after completing advanced specialist training in Cardiology at Changi General Hospital and NHCS. He was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan scholarship by the Ministry of Health for advanced fellowship training in cardiac implantable electronic devices and electrophysiology in Germany, where he trained under Dr. Johannes Sperzel at Kerckhoff Klinik, Bad Nauheim. His subspecialty focus includes complex cardiac device management such as cardiac resynchronization therapy, lead extraction, and advanced pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, as well as electrophysiology procedures including ablation of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. He is actively involved in research and clinical management of atrial fibrillation, stroke prevention, supraventricular tachycardias, and sudden cardiac death prevention. Dr. Chow is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (Chapter of Cardiologists), Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, Fellow of the ASEAN College of Cardiology, and a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (Heart Rhythm Society, USA).
