Dr. Shirley Lee

Dr. Shirley Lee is a sessional Consultant Neurologist at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital with expertise in epilepsy and a broad range of neurological disorders. She graduated from the National University of Ireland and later obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) before pursuing advanced subspecialty training in Neurology. \n\nDr. Lee completed her Neurology Fellowship in Malaysia, which included a dedicated Epilepsy Fellowship at Austin Hospital, Melbourne, Australia. Her special clinical interest lies in the comprehensive management of epilepsy, with a strong focus on optimising seizure control, improving quality of life, and supporting patients and families through education and long-term neurological care. \n\nBeyond epilepsy management, she is experienced in treating stroke, headache disorders, neuroimmunological diseases, neuromuscular conditions, dementia, and movement disorders. Dr. Lee is also skilled in advanced neurodiagnostic procedures including nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), and electroencephalography (EEG).
