Dr. Nur Abdul Karim

Dr. Nur Abdul Karim is a Senior Consultant Emergency Physician practising at KPJ Damansara Specialist Hospital with extensive experience in Emergency Medicine across both public and private healthcare sectors. Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council since 2004, she is experienced in managing acute medical, surgical, and trauma-related emergencies using evidence-based emergency care approaches and rapid clinical intervention strategies. Her clinical expertise includes emergency medicine, resuscitation medicine, trauma stabilisation, and Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) for bedside diagnostic assessment and procedural guidance. Dr. Nur also has specialised training in Critical Care Ultrasound through fellowship training at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), strengthening her expertise in emergency imaging and critical patient management. In addition to frontline emergency care, Dr. Nur contributes actively to clinical governance and emergency medical protocol development within the KPJ Healthcare group.
