DR. LEE MUN TOONG

Dr. Lee Mun Toong is a Malaysian Consultant Ophthalmologist with nearly 20 years of experience in cataract and laser refractive surgery. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India, between 1991 and 1996, including internship training. He later completed his Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology at the University of Malaya, Malaysia, from 1999 to 2003. Dr. Lee further advanced his expertise through a Postgraduate Diploma in Cataract and Refractive Surgery from the University of Ulster, United Kingdom, in 2013, which was reaffirmed in 2018. He has also undergone extensive international training and certifications in LASIK, FemtoLASIK, SMILE surgery, and advanced cataract surgical techniques in India, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Malaysia between 2007 and 2023. Registered with Malaysia’s National Specialist Register (NSR) since 19 January 2007, Dr. Lee is experienced in managing cataracts, refractive errors, and comprehensive ophthalmic conditions using modern surgical technologies. He is fluent in Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia, and English, enabling him to provide compassionate and patient-centered eye care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
