Dr Kalai Arasu Muthusamy @ Dr Kamal Azrin Abdullah

Dr Kalai Arasu Muthusamy, also known as Dr Kamal Azrin Abdullah, is a Consultant Neurosurgeon based at Subang Jaya Medical Centre. He holds an MBBS and Master of Surgery from Universiti Malaya, and a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) from the University of Oxford.He underwent advanced clinical training at University Malaya Medical Centre and further specialised fellowship training in Functional Neurosurgery at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford NHS Trust. His clinical expertise lies in neuromodulation and functional neurosurgery, particularly in deep brain stimulation for movement disorders, epilepsy, and neuropsychiatric conditions.Dr Kalai has extensive experience in managing complex neurological conditions including brain tumours, epilepsy, and neuropathic pain. He is also actively involved in research and has received multiple national and international awards for his contributions to neurosurgery and innovation.
