In Japan's super-aged society, extending each individual's healthy lifespan through the scientific approach that "aging is a disease" by controlling the aging process itself as a pathological condition has become a vital medical and social challenge.
After graduating from Kinki University School of Medicine, he engaged in advanced research in dermatology and immunology at the University of Vienna and the U.S. NIH. He later served as Professor of Dermatology at Kinki University, President of the Japan Society of Anti-Aging Medicine, and Founder of the Kinki University Anti-Aging Center—leading the development of anti-aging medicine in Japan.
Currently, as a Visiting Professor at Kinki University, he continues to bridge clinical practice and research. In 2025, he served as a Committee Member of the Osaka Pavilion Promotion Committee and Director of Advanced Preventive Healthcare at the Osaka–Kansai Expo, promoting the importance of extending healthy life expectancy throughout society.
