He specializes in evidence-based psychiatric assessment and management for a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, with a strong focus on adult psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. Dr. Chin obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2010 before pursuing postgraduate specialist training in psychiatry. He completed his Master of Psychological Medicine at the University of Malaya (UM) in 2018. In 2024, he further advanced his subspecialty expertise through Fellowship training in Neuropsychiatry under the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH), with clinical exposure at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), Australia, and Melbourne Health, Australia. His clinical interests include General Adult Psychiatry, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Mental Health Assessment, Pharmacotherapy, and individualized psychiatric management plans. Dr. Chin adheres closely to the clinical practice guidelines established by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred mental healthcare aimed at improving long-term psychological wellbeing and functional recovery.
