Dr. Benjamin Tan

Dr. Benjamin Tan is a Consultant Nephrologist and Internal Medicine Physician with specialised expertise in kidney diseases and renal supportive care. He graduated from the National University of Ireland and subsequently obtained membership and fellowship qualifications from the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom. He completed his Fellowship in Nephrology under the Ministry of Health Malaysia before pursuing advanced fellowship training in Glomerular Disease and Kidney Supportive Care in Australia. His clinical interests focus on chronic kidney disease prevention and management, glomerular diseases, dialysis care, kidney transplantation, and supportive renal care. Dr. Benjamin is committed to delivering patient-centred and evidence-based nephrology care aimed at improving long-term kidney health and quality of life for patients with complex renal conditions. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in clinical research, medical education, and international nephrology collaborations. He serves as an instructor and education committee member of GlomCon, a global initiative dedicated to advancing education, research, and clinical collaboration in glomerular kidney diseases.
