Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aminudin Rahman Mohd Mydin

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aminudin Rahman Mohd Mydin is a Consultant Clinical and Radiation Oncologist with extensive international training and experience in advanced cancer treatment. He specialises in both radiation and medical oncology, with particular expertise in modern radiotherapy techniques including IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, and brachytherapy. His clinical interests cover a broad range of cancers including breast, colorectal, head and neck, gynaecological, genitourinary, central nervous system tumours, lymphomas, and sarcomas. Dr. Aminudin underwent advanced oncology and research training in Ireland and Canada, where he participated in major international clinical trials involving breast, lung, prostate, and oesophageal cancers. He also received specialised training in prostate brachytherapy and advanced radiotherapy planning techniques. His experience includes involvement in EORTC, ICORG, RTOG, and NCI Canada clinical research programmes. In addition to his clinical practice, he has held academic appointments and contributed significantly to oncology education and cancer research in Malaysia.
