Assist. Prof. Dr. Chris Charoenlap, MD.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Chris Charoenlap is an orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty expertise in musculoskeletal oncology, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors. He is experienced in managing both benign and malignant tumors, including osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, giant cell tumors, and metastatic bone disease. His clinical expertise includes advanced surgical techniques such as tumor resection and limb-sparing reconstruction, as well as the use of 3D-printed custom prosthetics for complex bone defects. Dr. Chris is also skilled in procedures such as intramedullary nailing, thermoablation for tumor control, and multi-ligament reconstruction. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, where he also completed his orthopedic training and residency with a focus on musculoskeletal oncology. He further advanced his expertise through fellowship training in oncologic orthopedics at the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna, Italy. In addition to his clinical work, he holds academic leadership roles as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics and Assistant Dean for Integrated Innovation and Digital Technologies at Chulalongkorn University.
