Dr. Pinakin Vijaykumar Parekh

Dr Pinakin Vijaykumar Parekh is a General Cardiologist practising at Trident Heart Centre, with clinics located in Napier and Farrer Park. With over 20 years of experience, Dr Pinakin provides care across general and preventive cardiology . He subspecialises in interventional cardiology and performs coronary angiography and angioplasty, including procedures for complex conditions such as left main disease, calcified lesions, bifurcations, and chronic total occlusions, as well as emergency angioplasty for acute heart attacks. He also manages cardiovascular risk factors including hypertension, hyperlipidaemia, diabetes, and weight-related conditions, and evaluates symptoms such as chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, and dizziness. Dr Pinakin obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore and completed his cardiology residency training at the National Heart Centre Singapore, with additional training at Changi General Hospital. He was awarded the Ministry of Health Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) scholarship to pursue fellowship training in interventional cardiology at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in the United Kingdom.
