The package supports early detection of conditions such as gastritis, ulcers, acid reflux, infections, and other gastrointestinal disorders to enable timely treatment and better digestive health management.

Validity: This promotion is valid from 11 May to 31 July 2026.
Eligibility: Open to all Malaysian self-paying patients [excludes International patients and third-party billers (payors)].
Package price: Valid at participating KPJ Specialist Hospitals (except KPJ Miri Specialist Hospital, Kuching Specialist Hospital, KPJ Penang Specialist Hospital, KPJ Perlis Specialist Hospital, KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital, Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital and Kedah Medical Centre).
Sedation Eligibility Assessment: The type of sedation administered is subject to a pre-procedural clinical assessment by the performing consultant.
Additional Sedation Charges: Should a patient request, or clinically require, Deep Sedation or General Anaesthesia (GA) due to high anxiety, severe gag reflex, or complex medical comorbidities, the standard promotional package will be voided. Alternatively, all Anaesthetist fees, specialised medications, and recovery room charges will be billed separately as additional out-of-pocket add-ons.
Medical Clearances: Patients with severe underlying cardiovascular, respiratory, or systemic conditions that prevent safe conscious sedation in a standard daycase setting may be disqualified from this package and advised to undergo standard inpatient pricing.

- Specialist Procedure: Diagnostic OGDS performed by a Consultant Physician or General Surgeon.
- Consultant Fees: Includes professional specialist charges.
- Daycase Facility: Hospital charges, including staff costs and room charges for daycase care.
- Procedural Comfort: Conducted strictly under Conscious Sedation (Moderate Sedation) administered by the performing Specialist Physician or General Surgeon, combined with a local anaesthetic throat spray.
- Standard Supplies: Includes all essential medical supplies, equipment, and instruments for the procedure.

Preparation
- Fast for at least 6–8 hours before the gastroscopy procedure or as instructed by the healthcare provider
- Bring identification documents and relevant medical records during the appointment

- Discuss the use of blood-thinning medications or supplements prior to the procedure
