Dr Chiang Wen Chin memperoleh gelar Bachelor of Medicine dan Bachelor of Surgery dari Nottingham University, Britania Raya. Beliau menyelesaikan pelatihan Pediatri di Bristol dan Great Ormond Street, Britania Raya. Beliau memperoleh kualifikasi spesialis Master of Medicine dalam bidang Pediatri dan keanggotaan di Royal College of Physicians (Britania Raya). Beliau juga telah dianugerahi Fellowship oleh Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health dan merupakan Fellow dari American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology. Dr Chiang menjabat sebagai Konsultan di Departemen Kedokteran Pediatri. Saat ini beliau adalah Adjunct Associate Professor di Duke NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore dan Tutor di Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
