Dr Tan Toh Lick

Dr Tan Toh Lick is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Thomson Women's Clinic (Jurong), providing comprehensive care for women across all stages of life, from pregnancy and childbirth to complex gynaecological conditions. With extensive clinical experience in both the United Kingdom and Singapore, he is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care while supporting women through every stage of their reproductive health journey. Dr Tan has a strong background in managing both routine and high-risk pregnancies, as well as performing minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. His clinical interests include antenatal and postnatal care, fertility and subfertility management, gynaecological ultrasound, menstrual disorders, and women's reproductive health. He also has extensive experience in service development, quality improvement, and medical education, having held several leadership positions throughout his career. Dr Tan graduated from King's College School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London, in 1997 before completing specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across London, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. He served as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in the United Kingdom before relocating to Singapore in 2013. Throughout his career, he has received multiple Clinical Excellence Awards in the UK and the Singapore Health Quality Service Award. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Tan actively participates in research, peer-reviewed publications, and specialist education, with research interests including early pregnancy loss, preterm birth, labour induction, and menstrual disorders.
