He also has extensive experience in service development, quality improvement, and medical education, having held several leadership positions throughout his career. Dr Tan graduated from King's College School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of London, in 1997 before completing specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across London, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex. He served as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in the United Kingdom before relocating to Singapore in 2013.
