Clinical Prof. Phanuvich Pumhirun is a Clinical Professor and consultant otorhinolaryngologist at Bangpakok 9 International Hospital's Ear Nose Throat Center. He specializes in otorhinolaryngology, allergy, and clinical immunology, providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, and immune system. With decades of clinical, academic, and research experience, he is recognized for his contributions to both patient care and medical education in Thailand. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of allergic diseases, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, food allergies, seasonal allergies, asthma, and primary immunodeficiency disorders. He also provides comprehensive ENT evaluation and surgical management for patients requiring specialized otolaryngologic care, combining evidence-based medicine with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. Clinical Prof. Phanuvich earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, Mahidol University. He completed the Thai Board of Otolaryngology and Laryngology at Phramongkutklao Hospital before obtaining certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology at Georgetown Medical Center, USA. He further completed a fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, USA. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served in numerous academic and national leadership roles, including Clinical Professor at Phramongkutklao College of Medicine, member of the Medical Council of Thailand, the National Research Council of Thailand, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of Thailand, and Siriraj Hospital's Academic Committee for Clinical Professorship Nomination.
