Dr Alan Cheung adalah dokter spesialis ortopedi yang berpraktik di Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapura. Beliau memiliki spesialisasi dalam penanganan cedera olahraga serta operasi penggantian sendi panggul dan lutut dengan bantuan teknologi robotik. Dr Cheung merupakan salah satu dari sedikit dokter bedah di Asia yang telah mendapatkan pelatihan dalam penggunaan sistem bedah robotik MAKOplasty, Robodoc, dan NAVIO. Dr Cheung menyelesaikan pendidikan bedah di bidang trauma dan ortopedi di London, kemudian menjalani fellowship dalam rekonstruksi sendi dan onkologi muskuloskeletal di Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia. Sebelum memulai praktik di sektor swasta, beliau merupakan konsultan di Ng Teng Fong General Hospital dan pernah menjabat sebagai Clinical Lecturer di Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Dr Cheung juga aktif dalam pendidikan medis dan pelatihan dokter. Beliau pernah menjadi instruktur dalam kursus rekonstruksi panggul dan lutut di Myanmar dan secara rutin diundang untuk mengajar berbagai kursus di kawasan Asia Pasifik, khususnya mengenai teknik terbaru dalam bedah cedera olahraga dan rekonstruksi sendi. Beliau merupakan anggota Association of Ringside Physicians, USA, serta anggota internasional American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons dan Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine, UK. Dr Cheung juga memberikan dukungan medis untuk berbagai ajang olahraga internasional. Beliau memimpin tim medis lokal untuk pertandingan ONE Championship dan ONE Warrior di Singapura, serta bertugas sebagai dokter pertandingan untuk sejumlah ajang olahraga, termasuk HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens dan Super Rugby. Atas prestasinya, Dr Cheung telah menerima berbagai penghargaan, termasuk Sydney Long Prize in Surgery, AW Beard Prize in Psychiatry, dan Howard Murray and FMR Walshe Prize in Neurosurgery.

Lingaraj Krishna

Dr Lingaraj Krishna is an orthopaedic surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. He subspecialises in the field of knee and hip surgery, as well as orthopaedic sports medicine. He has practised medicine for more than 20 years and manages a wide range of orthopaedic conditions. He also has special interests in sports-related knee surgery, knee ligament reconstruction surgery, hip and knee joint replacement surgery, as well as revision joint surgery. He is currently a senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery Partners – a private practice at Gleneagles Hospital. He also serves as a visiting consultant in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the National University Hospital (NUH). Dr Lingaraj was previously the head of the Division of Sports Medicine and Surgery at NUH from 2014 – 2020. He was also the founding director of the NUH Sports Centre from 2016 – 2020. Dr Lingaraj served on the Executive Board of Sport Singapore, the national governing body for sport in Singapore from 2016 – 2020. He currently serves on the Civil Aviation Medical Board and represents Singapore on the boards of the ASEAN Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy (ASSA), the Asia-Pacific Knee Society (APKS), and the Asian Knee Arthroscopy Think-Tank (AKAT). He also serves in the membership committee of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS). He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles and has been involved in more than 70 conference presentations. Dr Lingaraj is also a sports enthusiast and a former competitive squash player.

Lo Ngai Nung

Dr Lo Ngai Nung is an orthopaedic specialist at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. His areas of expertise include the management of complex degenerative conditions of the hip and knee joints. His interests include minimally invasive joint replacements and partial knee replacements, and accelerated recovery programmes after joint replacement surgery for early return to function. He has over 25 years of experience in managing symptomatic degenerative hip and knee joints. He performs close to 450 joint reconstruction surgeries per year, many of which are complex cases or revision cases referred for further treatment. In 1995, Dr Lo headed the adult reconstruction service of the department of orthopaedic surgery at Singapore General Hospital. He was a visiting professor in orthopaedics to Ningxia Medical College in China, and emeritus consultant in orthopaedics to Liaocheng People’s Hospital in Shandong, China. He is also an adjunct professor of orthopaedics at the Duke-NUS Medical School, and associate professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He is also an examiner for the Master of Medicine (Orthopaedics) in NUS, and an examiner for the Thai Hip and Knee Society fellowship examinations. He is a member of the teaching faculty of the ASEAN Arthroplasty Association and the Asia-Pacific Arthroplasty Society. He was an invited speaker at international conferences like the World Arthroplasty Congress in Rome, and also regularly conducts surgical courses and masterclasses in hip and knee replacement surgery in the Asia-Pacific. He has over 150 publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a co-editor of 2 textbooks in arthroplasty. He initiated the Singapore International Foundation’s Vietnam arthroplasty surgeon training project in 2005 which involved volunteer doctors, scrub nurses and physiotherapists. He also conducted surgery and taught orthopaedic surgeons in Myanmar in a similar programme. Dr Lo participated in the design of implants and instruments used in minimally invasive knee replacement surgeries which are now used worldwide. He was also a principal investigator in multi-centre trials involving new hip and knee implants and in trials involving anti-deep vein thrombosis drugs. He is currently collaborating on a novel hip prosthesis with enhanced stability. He has received several awards including NUS Excellence in Orthopaedic Teaching Award in 2002 – 2004, SGH CEO’s Service Quality award in 2004, and the Heart of Gold Award in 2019. For 25 years of his contributions to public service, Dr Lo was awarded the Long Service Medal (Pingat Bakti Setia) at the Singapore National Day Awards in 2013.

Tan Guoping Kelvin

Dr Kelvin Tan is an orthopaedic surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. He is proficient in robotic-assisted surgeries primary and revision hip and knee joint replacement surgeries; complex hip reconstruction including impaction bone grafting for failed hip replacements/hip dysplasia; direct anterior approach to hip replacement; and trauma surgeries including peri-prosthetic fracture fixation and sports surgeries. He is also a proponent of the use of cutting-edge technology such as robotics and computer navigation to perform hip and knee replacement, including unicompartmental (partial) knee replacement. Dr Tan was the previous head of adult reconstruction/joint replacement unit and senior consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and did his master’s there. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. He did his fellowship in complex/revision arthroplasty at Prince Charles Hospital and Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He received a team Health Manpower Development Plan award for Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) knee replacement at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Scotland and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals, UK. Dr Tan was the clinical champion in TTSH Knee Replacement Clinical Pathway and clinical lead of the ERAS Knee Replacement Taskforce at TTSH and the National Healthcare Group (NHG). He is an advocate of ERAS after knee replacements, reducing the patients’ length of hospital stay and transforming TTSH knee replacement to ambulatory surgery. He also started the Institution Knee Registry database. He has performed more than 500 MAKO robotic-assisted joint replacements (MAKOplasty). He is also the region's first few certified MAKO robotic trainers in partial knee, total knee as well as total hip replacement. He has been practising medicine for more than 15 years. Dr Tan is an opinion leader locally and regionally in robotic-assisted joint replacements as well as ERAS, and has sat on various national committees. Besides his clinical work, he is an adjunct assistant professor at NUS, and a core clinical faculty member and clinical competencies committee member of NHG’s orthopaedic residency programme. He is an examiner for NUS and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine’s undergraduates as well as in the orthopaedic master’s programme. Dr Tan has published extensively in international peer-reviewed medical journals, and presented at local and international conferences. He is currently the chairman of the Singapore Arthroplasty Society, representing Singapore at various international conferences.
