Dr. Grace Tan

Dr. Grace Tan is a General Surgeon and Surgical Oncologist with expertise in treating complex gastrointestinal and oncological conditions, including colorectal, stomach, and oesophageal cancers, as well as peritoneal and pelvic malignancies, melanoma, sarcomas, and skin cancers. She has extensive experience in advanced cancer surgery, including Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS) and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC). Dr. Tan graduated from Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust College of Medicine in London, United Kingdom. She subsequently completed her specialist training in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology in Singapore at Singapore General Hospital and the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), where she previously served as Consultant in the Division of Surgery and Surgical Oncology. She further pursued subspecialty training in CRS and HIPEC at the NHS Peritoneal Malignancy Unit in Basingstoke, United Kingdom, a recognised centre for peritoneal surface malignancies. Dr. Tan is actively involved in regional and international oncology collaboration, serving as an executive committee member of the Asian Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Group and a member of the Gastrointestinal and Sarcoma Clinical Trial Steering Committee. She has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for leading surgical oncology journals. Her clinical excellence has been recognised through multiple awards, including the SingHealth RiSE Awards (2014), the Editor’s Award by the International Journal of Hyperthermia (2017), and the Singapore Health Quality Service Award – Gold (2019).
