Dr Kojodjojo lulus dari St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospital Medical College, University of London dan merupakan anggota Royal College of Physicians. Beliau menjalani pelatihan kardiologi dan elektrofisiologi jantung di St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College London, UK dan Brigham and Women's Hospital, afiliasi pengajaran Harvard Medical School di Boston, USA. Beliau dianugerahi gelar PhD untuk penelitian inovatifnya tentang fibrilasi atrium manusia oleh Imperial College London.
