Dr. Tan Sue Yong

Dr. Tan Sue Yong is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist specialising in general anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, and pain management. Her practice focuses on providing safe and effective anaesthetic care before, during, and after surgical procedures, as well as the management of acute and chronic pain. Her areas of expertise include surgical pain, acute pain, chronic pain, perioperative conditions, anaesthesia-related complications, respiratory and cardiovascular complications, postoperative pain, postoperative nausea and vomiting, airway disorders, critical illness, surgical emergencies, and other pain-related conditions. Dr. Tan provides a comprehensive range of anaesthetic services, including general, regional, local, spinal, and epidural anaesthesia, as well as sedation. Her perioperative services include preoperative assessment, perioperative care, intraoperative monitoring, postoperative pain management, acute and chronic pain management, airway management, endotracheal intubation, difficult airway management, cardiopulmonary monitoring, resuscitation, and critical care support. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Asian Institute of Medicine, Science and Technology (AIMST), Malaysia, and completed her Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology (MMed Anaes) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
