Dr. Susan Loo Pooi San is a Consultant Emergency Physician specialising in emergency medicine, acute care, and emergency resuscitation. She provides assessment and immediate management for patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, medical emergencies, and life-threatening conditions. Her areas of expertise include chest pain, acute coronary syndrome, heart attack, stroke, seizures, severe headaches, trauma, road traffic injuries, fractures, dislocations, burns, wounds, acute abdominal pain, appendicitis, asthma attacks, severe allergic reactions, anaphylaxis, pneumonia, sepsis, poisoning, drug overdose, acute infections, dehydration, heat stroke, fainting, shock, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Dr. Susan provides comprehensive emergency assessment and resuscitation, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), advanced life support, airway management, emergency intubation, trauma management, wound care, fracture stabilisation, splinting, emergency suturing, and emergency ultrasound. She also performs and interprets emergency investigations such as electrocardiograms (ECG) and provides assessment and management for acute stroke, cardiac emergencies, sepsis, poisoning, and overdose.
